Roost Architecture

ROOST network architecture is similar to Kubernetes architecture except that the ROOST central collaboration server handles only security. Peers consist of any arbitrary combination of ROOST Desktop and ROOST Headless.

ROOST Kubernetes Engine or RKE is a lightweight 5-node cluster.

• One Master Node
• 3 Worker Nodes
• 1 Utility Node

Is there High-Availability of Master Node?

‌No, there is one single master node. The state of master node can be stored in git to avoid any state corruption. You can go to preference to choose git repository.‌

What if my machine is not powerful enough?

‌If your machine configuration is not powerful enough to support 1M+1U+3W cluster, Roost automatically reduce it to 1M+1U+2W cluster. The memory footprint of each node is also reduced accordingly.
